Underwater Metal Detecting

aquachigger asked:

This is a short video of me digging a civil war minie ball from the river. It’s my second day trying to film myself digging, so it’s all a little shaky. There is a water spot in the beginning of the video that goes away underwater and the rest of the video is pretty cool.

  1. Great Video! What do you recommend for an underwater metal detector that is completely submersible? I have been thinking Minelab, and also Fisher. Seems that I remember a lot of underwater treasure hunting shows I have seen the divers are using Fisher brand detectors. What do you think?

I know. I do usually wear gloves, but like to go au natural sometimes. I almost always end up regretting it too.

Hi, It looks worse than it actually is. It only takes a few days for the holes to silt back in. It sure is fun! Thanks for looking!
