I hunt primarily for old coins and found a website that really makes it easy finding the long forgfotten ball fields, picnic groves and homesites.

If the maps are available for your area, you can view aerial maps from the 30&#039;s and compare them to recent maps to see what&#039;s overgrown which normally means overlooked spots that can really pay off.

 I&#039;ve found old ballfields in the center of parks that still yield some old coins, and without these maps you&#039;d never know they were there once upon a time.
