Hi Everyone, here are a few hunts from the past week. We hunted some schools and soccer fields and park. Not a lot of great finds, but did get a couple of silver rings and junk rings, a few wheats and other finds. Thanks for Watching and best of luck on your next hunts. HH….Dave

Hi everyone, I went out to a metro park on March 23rd and did some detecting on a few sledding hills, the first hill i hunted, i dug two 1941 mercury dimes that were only around 21/2 three inches deep, so it was a good start to the evening hunt, i detected the area for another hour and just a few clad coins. I kinda moved around to the different hills detecting, and the only other older coin was a wheat penny. I left the sledding hills and went over to the other side of the park, and detected a area where i have pulled a few silver coins in the past…with no luck. Went back down to the Huron river with a detecting buddy, he hunted the river while i detected the river bank. I was using the Garrett GTI 2500 today, we spent three hours detecting. I had a total of 22 coins for the day, best finds of the day came late into the hunt. My keepers were a 1950 silver franklin half dollar, 1905 Indian head penny, and the first coin of the day was a 1932 Canadian penny, so it was a pretty good day out. Went out for a 2 1/2 hour hunt with a friend of mine that just started detecting. We hunted in the woods for most of the time, not a lot of great finds, but did manage one nice find, a 1923 mercury dime that was dug close to the railroad tracks, lots of shell casings, junk items and a dell laptop that DC found next to a tree. Sorry about the shaky video, didn’t have the tripod with me.
