I found my first 14k gold ring today! The ring is from a local high school and it says 1990, and is engraved with the owners name. I did a quick facebook search and located the owner to see about returning it. Fisher F2 on Amazon tinyurl.com

Went out metal detecting for civil war relics and old silver coins with my friend Hank The Dog @ a Confed campsite. Hank is a lucky dog. Made several round ball & fired civil war lead finds, a couple of minie balls, a button etc. Hunted along an old road/trail that existed during the war. Got very lucky – a 1853 Seated Libery Half Dollar with my Fisher Labs F75 ltd.. Thanks for watching. cch
