These forums have developed a very loyal relationship with Kellyco, not you or their very own members. Scheme number one at that place is the “Titan” brand of detectors they sell at inflated prices. Do a little research and compare the price of a Radioshack Discovery 2200 here… www.radioshack.com versus their identical but with a different name and faceplate machine here….. www.kellycodetectors.com This is just a small sample of what the admins over at these forums will cover up in order to keep steering people towards their sponsor. They will censor your posts, remove them, rewrite them, whatever it takes to prevent truthful facts and good advice from being handed out.

11/13/11 Dad and I hit 2 places for about a 4hr hunt. It paid off big time for him. Lady luck wasn’t on my side today but maybe next time. He whooped me good and my moral was down but thats just all part of the hobby! Just gotta keep diggin! ****Simple Question…If we were gonna fake it, wouldn’t we use a worn coin? (not a shiny one) I told Dad that some people may think we “salted” that dollar. His responce was “I dont care what they think”. Later he made a good point,…we would never do such a thing and I think our core group of subscribers know this. However if we WERE gonna do something that low, we woulda used a well worn/tarnished dirty looking dollar to do it with. Not a perfect shiny coin. People wouldnt believe it if the coin was in such good shape. The perfect condition of that coin should show we made no attempt to fake it. Its how it was out the ground. The coin is a legitimate find. You just never know what your gonna dig up. Good Luck to all you out there!

My new favorite site. 51 coins this time, with 5 silver, plus a half sixpence. All the silver was in great condition too which is a big bonus. Machine used was Minelab Etrac with 18″ x 15″ Detech SEF coil. There a few areas with alot of contamination which will no doubt hold more good finds so I will return with my 8″ x 6″ coil to hammer those areas.
