Metal Detecting – Trash Pit, Bottle Dig

This dig takes place on a corner property where the two intersecting streets are a part of the towns oldest history. These streets date back to the early 1700′s. There are no buildings or foundations left and it appears to have been empty and wooded since the1940′s. The material I’m finding in the initial part of the dig is dating back to that time period but because the property is located on that intersection I expect to find much older objects the deeper I go , hopefully back to the 1700′s. So this is part one and there will be a series of deeper and wider digs to follow which will be marked accordingly. I had to cut many parts of the first one in order to keep within the ten minute time frame but will summarize by showing all the finds in the future. It may take as much as five or six parts so I will not be too concerned with format, you know introductions and endings. Just trying to squeeze in as much footage as possible with each one to avoid having too many parts. Hope you enjoyed the first one and keep in mind, I’m looking for much older finds with each additional part ………..I just recently was given permission by the land owner to hunt this property and was also informed that he expects to have it sold for new homes to be built soon, so before the bulldozers get there I expect to do as much digging and detecting as possible ……………Thanks for watching ……………..Bill.
