Join us for a weekend of digging in the Low-Country of SC. Word of warning…there is a “little” colorful language towards the end…but that tends to happen when you dig something good! Watch in HIGH QUALITY for a better viewing experience.
Awesome find & great video as always!!
Love the tips you give throughout your episodes.
Great video as always–Keep up the good work and congrats on the great find
i got a ? about the “3 ringers” that you guy’s found that were “fired”.. do you think that they might be drops and just flattened at the base with a tractor tire or something?? i would think a fired would be flat on the nose of it…i mean you guy’s are the pro’s not me,but i would imagine the reason for the mini-ball and the rings was to keep the projectile stable while in flight and not hit *** end first…bobby in tennessee
Congrats on the “C” and great video. I even got excited and felt like I was part of the dig.

“KICK ASS” *** is right! great vid. and gongrats to your brother on his finds.
Great video digger,, you inspired me to purchase 2 detectors,, I bought 2 pioneer 505 pro detectors by Bounty Hunter,, (8inch coils) along with headphones, an 2 -4 inch coils,, it cost me 665 dollars,,are you familiar with this detectors?,,what do you think? Thanks,,
How do you research your sites, I can’t find anything here in Colorado.
A Fisher F2 wouldn’t be a bad choice either, it’s the same price as the Ace 250. I used one this year as my first detector, and it worked wonders. No problem getting coin and button sized objects at 10 – 12 inches consistently.
Sweet video Greg. Man I’ll tell you, you were a lot calmer than I would have been if I had found that Confederate “C”..Congrats!
wow Greg,great hunt I really enjoy your adventures,..Marc ,Knoxville,Tn……
An expensive, first time machine…Garrett Ace 250. You can get set up with a machine and nice headphones for under $300. Let me know if you need a reference for a dealer.
Aww cool.Cant wait.I live in mid-northeast Missouri about 4 miles from the Chariton river.I’m surrounded by old home steads, hay, corn and bean fields.I walk the fields and creeks near my home looking for artifacts. Can you recommend a 1st time buyers metal detector that would be suitable for my surroundings that I could afford..lol.I’d really appreciate your opinion. Thanks Trina
Thanks! Then you’re going to love my next episode…nice Civil War relics isn’t the only thing we came away with for the weekend.
