Keys can be fun to find while metal detecting, that is one at a time. They read like a penny. That is not the case with a key chain and several keys. A bunch of keys on a hoop read somewhere between trash and iron. This makes them so much harder to find, as working in accept all metals is near mandatory. I may have lost the first battle, but the war aint over. Giving up now would make it pointless to have even started. I have a lead on another set of lost keys as well. – neswiper
