It seems to me that it comes down to whether the cemetery is public or private. Ultimately, its not metal detecting that is the issue - it is whether you have the right to search the property for relics. If public, the metal detecting is probably OK, but it wouldn't hurt to ask. If private, the answer is almost certainly "no way".

Well, you must really have patience and really be into it. I was into it for a few years and then never found anything so just kinda quit. But maybe you will find something. Good luck hunting. =)

I bought a nice folding shovel at the hardware store. I use it for all my digs at the beach and it was not expensive. I have seen them made out of gallon bleach bottles but those don't work good in hard sand.

to Mr. neswiper: Just getting back into metal detecting after a 15 year abscence. Enjoy all you do, especially since an etrac is going to be my next purchase.Seen comments that the sun ray probe adds a little weight to the shaft i.e. more fatigue faster. Comment? I really enjoyed your video on how to program your etrac by passing your good finds in front of the probe thus finding only those particular objects. Could you program the etrac the same way without the probe? That whole set up is new to me. I guess that the etrac has an external port for the probe. For now i'll keep swinging my whites 6000D until I get my etrac. Joel York, Pa

Yikes!
I guess I should be hunting the beaches from now on instead of the woods and old ballfields. She sure is a far cry from the buddies that I hunt with.

I use an F75 and it's made a huge difference in my finds and I'd like an F70 for a backup.

          5.0 out of 5 stars
          4 inch search coil
This coil is easy to change and easy to use, I had a lot less pop top hits. I am pleased with it.

          5.0 out of 5 stars
Is it Worth it? 100xs Over!
When i first used this it made a difference right away. How did i know? My Friend has the Same MD as i Do (Tracker IV) and we were metal detecting next to each other.

          4.0 out of 5 stars
          Good iron discrimination
The 4" coil seems to do much better at seeing the difference between iron and other metals. It is also great for getting in the small potholes where gold will settle.

          5.0 out of 5 stars
          Easier Finds
Bought this based on other reviews... Took off my old coil and popped this one on, then I proceeded to coin shoot an area that I had already checked.
